How important is your online business?

Today’s society thrives on convenience. 9 out of 10 people will search from the comfort of their own home for a business via the internet before they bother going to that company’s physical location. If you don’t have a website for them to go to, chances are they’ll move on to a company that does.

The concept behind your web site - Think of it as building a new business – online. Only this new “online business” you’re building will cost considerably less then your average brick and mortar business, and will have the potential to generate up to 10 times the amount of income for you.

Getting started – Setting up a professional website that actually gets results can be a little overwhelming to say the least and there are quite a few factors involved that most people aren't even aware of. The nice thing about having a web designer/administrator though is that all the overwhelming technical details are taken care of for you.

The first thing we'll do is find an available website name that reflects the work that you do. Do you have a business name already? If so, you’re one step ahead of the game! Once we get your domain name, then we can set up hosting for that name - (hosting is basically your space on the internet) - something completely separate from the domain name itself.

In the mean time you'll want to think of the different pages to include on your site. The standard ones usually consist of 5 pages and a contact form:

• Home (index) page
• About Us page
• Product or Testimonial page
• Services or FAQ page
• Contact Us page

There can be sub pages within those pages as well, ex: the product page can have a breakdown of other pages for different product categories. And all you would need to do is send us photos and information for each and we'll get them sized and set up in a nice layout on their proper pages for you.

Once we've acquired your domain name and hosting plan, we can start building your site. We’ll custom design 2-3 different looks/styles that best reflect your business, and when you see the one you like best, we'll start adding content and photos etc. Your website will initially be uploaded to our server so that you can watch the project stages, and send us your input, changes, and modifications as they come along. When you're completely satisfied with your website, we'll launch it onto your domain and hosting service.

Purchasing your domain name and hosting plan is separate from the design and set-up of the site itself, and the prices are based on annual payment plans. We’ve done extensive research on several companies that provide these services and found the best prices and most reliable services from very reputable companies. Their prices are as follows:

Domain name registration: $9.95 per year.

Hosting Plan: This will depend on how much space you need on the internet. If you want a full scale e-commerce (online shopping system) set up on your site, it takes a lot of space and can be fairly expensive to host (usually around $15.95 per month - $191.40/yr.). However, if you just want a basic plan that still allows you to sell products online, you can use Paypal or just provide contact information to arrange payments for your products, then it will be considerably less cost to you (as little as $5.95 per month - $71.40/yr.). All hosting plans include 10 email addresses or more through your website- ex: anyname@yoursitename.com.

We can't control the pricing for domain names and hosting but we can work with you in regards to the web design. So if you're on a tight budget and need to set up payment arrangements for your new web site, just let us know.

The main web design layout and set up takes about 2 days to create and the fee for this is $250.00

Included in the main site design and set-up are 3 free revisions and a professionally designed logo that you can use on your letter head, business cards, and other advertising material.

Each page of your website is $75.00 - this includes content layout, image editing (croping, sizing, placement and upload) and 3 free revisions per page. The time involved to create each of these pages will depend on how soon we receive the content and images from you.

Addtional services are always available on requestion. We do offer some flash design elements that can be incorporated on your pages, a customized contact form on your 'contact us' page, set up keywords in your web site for search optimization, list your site in all the major search engines (google, msn, yahoo etc.), and create all of your email accounts through your website, ie: info@yoursitename.com where you can send and receive email from that address.

Think of all the work and cost that would be involved to start a new business. Set it up in a high traffic location, advertise, pay over head, phone lines etc. and spend thousands of dollars, not to mention hundreds of hours to get your business up and running. Now compare that to the cost of your online business. It just makes good sense!

In addition to this, your website belongs to you! The website design, account information, passwords etc. are 100% yours once payment is received in full. This allows you to have complete control over your site, and gives you the freedom to change web administrators, hosting plans, domain name registrars etc. should you ever wish to do so.

Again, all of this can sound a little bit overwhelming, but that's why we’re here. Getting a site up and running "live" can actually be a lot of fun! We handle all the technical "stuff", while you sit back and watch it all take shape.
